"I've always noticed and found it problematic the way that things operate -- usually that there's always something that can be changed and be made better."
Born in Urbana in 1986, Natalie Prochaska was a member of the Uni High class of 2004. After graduating, she spent a year as the Habitat Affiliate Coordinator in Clarksdale before going on to get her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago. She worked in law until 2013, when she began studying for a M.A. in Urban Planning and PhD in Regional Planning. She hopes that she’ll be able to put her degrees into practice soon planning holistic, integrated communities and helping to de-gentrify neighborhoods.
